Thanks For Doing More!

Every dollar donated to Warder Literacy Center is invested in people. Here is how it works: about a fifth of the money is used to keep the Center open and usable for our people. 3/5 is invested in 4 staff members, one full-time and three part-timers. Those four staff members recruit, train, and support the 60 volunteers who come in twice a week to work with a student. The last fifth of donations goes to purchasing books, supplies and other resources that are used by the 200+ enrolled students who pass through our doors every year. Kids get back on grade-level and adults earn GED's, pass the written test for driver's licenses, study to pass the citizenship interview and so many other literacy based goals.
